Nutritech EquiGuard™ Plus Pellets

A natural product comprising modified glucomannans from yeast cell wall, chromium and an antioxidant. It acts as a digestive aid and provides nutritional support for horses grazing high endophyte pastures.

EquiGuard™ Plus provides an organic form of magnesium which is more readily available and fastest acting for the horse. Vitamin E and organic chromium help boost the horses’ immune systems and support muscle function.

May be used in conjunction with EquiPur (natural herbal extract) to aid in detoxification, cleansing horses system and support normal liver function.

Recommended Dose Rate

High dose – 5 g / 100 kg for 5-7 days: Horse(500 kg) = 25 g Pony(250 kg) = 12.5 g

Normal dose – 2.5 g /100 kg: Horse(500 kg) = 12.5 g Pony(250 kg) = 6.25 g

One 15 ml scoop (included) is approximately 12.5 g.

Directions for Use

Administer to horses by mixing with supplementary feed. Begin with the high dose, and continue for at least 5-7 days. Following this, the dose can be reduced to the normal rate depending on the individual horse’s response. For best results, split the daily dose into morning and evening feeds.

This product is a natural preparation for animal use and if symptoms persist, veterinary advice should be sought.

Nutritech Vitamin E Supplement

Vitamin E is important for its antioxidant activity, which helps protect cells from damage by oxidation from “free radicals” particularly during or after exercise. vitamin E is important in helping to boost and support immunity, hormone function, and cell structure.

EquiSoothe™ is an organic magnesium supplement designed to address magnesium deficiency in horses. Magnesium aspartate is commonly referred to as organic magnesium, and its biological uptake is much higher than other magnesium supplements.

Adult horses: (500 kg) 2.5g per horse per day.

Selamin®Gold contains essential vitamins, minerals and amino acids for horses in training, breeding stock, yearlings and foals, as an aid in the prevention and treatment of mineral/vitamin/amino acid deficiencies, and is especially applicable for horses on selenium deficient diets. Nutritech EquiCopper

EquiCopper is an organic copper supplement to aid in the prevention and treatment of copper deficiencies in horses. Symptoms of copper deficiency include anaemia, poor growth, hair colour change and weight loss. Organic copper (copper bound to amino acid) has been found to have a much greater bio-availability for horses and will be a more effective copper supplement, especially in areas with high sulphur, molybdenum or iron levels, where copper deficiencies are common.

A mineral supplement for addition to horse feeds to support muscle function (as a mineral source) and help maintain immune function. Also contains a mycotoxin binder (Meriden Fusion DYAD™) to aid in the management of negative effects of feed borne mycotoxins.

EquiGuard™ Plus provides an organic form of magnesium as a mineral source which is more readily available to the horse and faster acting. Vitamin E and chromium help to maintain the horses’ immune system and support muscle function.

Contains per 12.5 g dose (elemental):

Magnesium (organic): 250 mg, Chromium (organic): 1 mg, Vitamin E: 50 IU, Meriden Fusion DYAD™**: 10g (to provide 640g/kg bentonite and 160g/kg of inactivated yeast), Orego-Stim® flavourant.

High Risk: per day 10kg feed – 2 scoops (25g)

Low Risk: per day 10kg feed – 1 scoop (12.5g)

The rate of inclusion would be dependent upon the severity of the mycotoxin present in the feed in which EquiGuard™ Plus is to be mixed.
