Why is fresh best?
You would not enjoy being freeze-dried and neither do microbes.
The process of freeze-drying damages the vast majority of the microbes being processed. Only 1/10th or even 1/100th for the microbes you start with will survive the process in a condition from which they may possibly be brought back to life.
The process of reanimating a freeze-dried culture takes another heavy toll with again ONLY 1/10th to 1/100th of the microbes that may have been able to survive actually finishing the process in a condition where they can metabolize and reproduce.
The above means that only a tiny fraction, 1/100th to 1/10,000th of the microbes that enter the freeze-drying process will ever wake up and get to work trying to be a probiotic. Further, this process takes time meaning that the tiny fraction of the microbes that make it through the grueling process can only benefit that lower part of the gut that they find themselves in once they get to work.
The live, active microbes in BioBrew products get to work from the moment you administer them. There is NONE of the lag time or massive losses associated with freeze-dried products.
The microbes in BioBrew products are selected to survive the rigors of the digestive system, including stomach acids and bile salts. They do their job the entire trip through the digestive tract.

Vetpro Blud-Boost is a hematinic supplement that provides bio-available iron with essential B Vitamins including folate, plus Copper, and amino acids Methionine, Glycine and Lysine. A hematinic is a nutrient required for the formation of blood cells in the process of haematopoiesis. The main hematinics are iron, B12, and folate all provided in Blud-Boost. They improve the condition and quality of the blood, and increase the number of erythrocytes and/or the haemoglobin concentration. Thus assisting the oxygen carrying capacity of the cells of blood.
The iron in Vetpro Blud-Boost is provided as Iron Glycinate which is a Bio-available iron that is readily and safely absorbed by the digestive process of the horse.
When in hard work, the horse needs the maximum oxygen carrying capacity of blood, a hematinic supplement can assist with this work demand to maximise the performance, it does not enhance the result, only ensures no reduction from a possible low haemoglobin state. Again under hard work conditions the horses natural ability to produce B Vitamins in the gut is reduced, so Vetpro Blud-Boost provides a full range of B vitamins to assist the horse up to normal levels. This reduction in internal production also occurs at times of stress, or when subjected to illness, infections, trauma or long distance travel, so using Vetpro Blud-Boost will improve the horses recovery at these times.
The B Vitamins are:

Joint disease, especially “wear and tear” of the cartilage on the articular surfaces of joints is one of the most common reasons for lameness in horses and ponies, and can affect those in lighter work or older horses, as well as those with a strenuous training and competition programme.
In a healthy joint, cartilage is continuously undergoing repair to micro-damage, but as cartilage doesn’t have its own blood supply, it relies upon the bone underneath and the synovial fluid bathing the joint to supply nutrients and key compounds to complete these repairs. As the horse ages, or the daily impact of training and competition increase, the ability of the synovial fluid and bone to provide these nutrients may not be enough to keep up with the rate of repair, and damage and resulting pain and lameness begin to occur.
It is therefore vital that the horse has a supply of the key building blocks and nutrients to maintain the quality of joint fluid and hence allow the joint to keep up with the rate of cartilage repair in order to support joint health and mobility.
Glucosamine HCl 12,000 provides those key compounds, including 12 g glucosamine per 30 g loading dose, as well as key nutrients hyaluronic acid and MSM, to provide nutritional support for both cartilage repair and to help maintain synovial fluid which lubricates and nourishes the joint.

Sedalyte (Electrolyte Replacement for Horses)
Replaces more of what is actually lost in sweat.
Inadequate electrolyte replacement after sweat loss leads to dehydration, lethargy, reduced water intake and muscle weakness in performance. It is also a major cause of tying up (Equine rhabdomyolysis).
SedaLYTE is an advanced electrolyte replacer specifically designed to help prevent such performance losses from occurring. It has been formulated after extensive research to determine the actual composition of sweat and this research has led to the higher electrolyte levels found in SedaLYTE (Potassium, Sodium, Magnesium and Chloride). This also means that SedaLYTE contains more of what is actually lost in sweat and less of other compounds not important with regards to sweat loss.
It is because SedaLYTE's balanced formulation more closely mimics the actual composition of a horse's sweat that it is so effective at helping to prevent poor performance due to sweat loss.
Individual horses sweat differently under differing work loads and climates. SedaLYTE's formulation and feeding directions are directly related to the amount of sweat lost, taking into account both the amount of work done and the climate. This means that you can ensure you are correctly replacing your horses sweat loss no matter what the climate. The addition of glucose in the SedaLYTE formulation improves the uptake of the essential electrolytes into the gut (stomach) to quickly help prevent dehydration.
