Sodium is the main electrolyte found in the blood and the fluid surrounding cells. If sodium levels are low, the blood won't hold enough water.
This causes the adrenal gland to release the hormone aldosterone, which tells the kidneys: "Don't let any sodium leave the body!" When the kidneys hold on to sodium, they excrete potassium in its place, creating an imbalance. Inadequate sodium intake can promote or aggravate conditions such as anhydrosis (lack of or inadequate sweating), tying up (a muscular disorder resulting in stiff and/or trembling muscles after exertion) and a rapid heart rate.
It can also influence the horse to avoid drinking water as the body seeks to keep from flushing away sodium. (And inadequate water consumption is always a risk factor for impaction colic).

Microbiome Support is a gut health product formulated by fermenting humates and kelp. It is highly bio available, being readily absorbed into the animals system.
Using Microbiome Support in the appropriate doses may be beneficial in:
Stabilising the micro flora in the gut which may lead to an improvement in the animals behaviour
Assisting in improving food conversion which may lead to a reduction in feed costs
Boosting the immune system which may assist in allowing performance animals to cope with workloads
Supporting broodmares and foals with their nutritional requirements in times of stress and need.
Microbiome Support can be added to hard feeding regimes or applied directly over the tongue. Microbiome Support can improve gut function and feed conversion so significantly, as long as your horses receive a nutritionally balanced diet suitable for their work load and environmental conditions, (ie including electrolytes) it is not so necessary to add vitamins and minerals. And if you do, they will absorb them so much more efficiently with less waste by excretion. When using Microbiome Support there is generally no need to use other forms of nutritional supplements.
Microbiome Support does not contain any FEI prohibited substances.
Microbiome Support is available in 1 litre, 5 litre, 10 litre, 20 litre, and 200 litre volumes.
Active Constituent: Bacillus subtilis (Natto) 1-10×10 6/L

Magnesium is essential for brain and nerve function. It is also vital for hair and horn growth. Many pastures are deficient in magnesium so supplementation is often necessary. Magnesium oxide provides a readily absorbable source of magnesium that can also help neutralise excess stomach acid.
Magnesium supplementation is often used to help calm horses who suffer from anxiety and nervousness. It is also thought to be helpful for horses with poor quality hoof growth and is often recommended for horses exhibiting low-grade foot pain due to poor metabolic function.
Magnesium Oxide is about 50% absorbable, depending on the relative levels of Calcium also present. The advantage of magnesium oxide is that the body will not absorb it if there is no deficiency, so it is difficult to overdose a horse using this source.
Dose Rate:
The normal blood level for Magnesium in horses is 2.2-2.7mg/dl, according to National Research Council in 2007 (NRC), serum magnesium values below 1.6mg/dl are defined as hypomagnesaemia. According to NRC, an intake of 20mg of Magnesium per kilogram of bodyweight per day is necessary to maintain normal blood serum levels. Thus, for a 500kg horse in light to moderate exercise, an intake of 10g per day is necessary to maintain blood levels.

Graze Ezy has been formulated to help neutralise or 'buffer' these imbalances in the grass. It is important to start with 10gms per feed and gradually increase the dose. If the manure softens then just revert to the previous amount.
Organic chromium assists with metabolizing the sugars in the grass. Long term GrazeEzy will contribute significantly towards a longer useful life.

Benefits of Hydra-flex Active:
Potent science backed ingredients:

This combination of ingredients is scientifically proven to nourish cartilage and provide hydration. Glucosamine and Chondroitin known as Glycosaminoglycans, the substances made naturally by the body to maintain healthy joints.
Providing GLA’s helps for ongoing joint repair and maintenance in healthy joints.
Science shows the body requires more after trauma, which includes the vigour of joint stress, wear and tear, and also as the horse begins to age.
Glucosamine Sulphate and Chondroitin Sulphate also work synergistically together to promote a more viscous synovial fluid, the lubricant that provides the frictionless surface between cartilage and bone.
Encouraging healthy cartilage and synovial fluid, in turn ensures healthy joint support.
Understanding joint care and why it is necessary:
Equine joints suffer wear and tear from movement. However, un- natural mechanical forces such as galloping and jumping carrying a rider impact joints much more.
The stresses and strains from poor conformation or working on uneven or hard surfaces together with the extra exertion required on the joints to perform and carry a rider, gradually wears away cartilage, narrowing the joint space to eventually bone on bone results, also known as osteoarthritis.
This is a natural process with aging and often seen in older or stiff horses, but now crucial to maintain athletic performance and a sound competition horse.
The cartilage between joints is therefore very important as this is what cushions the bone ends and prevents these from touching. It is these structures that must be kept healthy to maintain healthy joints.
The ingredients in this potent formula for horses consists of Green lipped mussel of the highest grade and purity to support joint health and reduce inflammatory reaction within the joint capsule.
The added Green lipped mussel together with the additional Chondroitin in this formula gives extra joint nutrition by raising natural Chondroitin and Glucosamine levels and also offering omega 3, a natural anti-inflammatory.
Why use Hydra-flex Active Joint supplement for horses?
In this joint supplement for horses we include ingredients with anti-inflammatory support as this is beneficial to the equine joint by preventing damage by the body’s own enzymes which attack cartilage when the area experiences trauma, inflammation, pain or discomfort. It is always important to control inflammation in the equine joint and to also provide more comfort to the horse. The performance horse is an athlete so maintaining joint health is priority in caring for your horse, as a prevention and also to support and provide comfort to joints.
This unique fortified formula, in addition contains Vitamin C in its stabilized ascorbate form, to provide antioxidant properties that help to support joint as well as muscle health. Vitamin C neutralizes free radicals (that cause oxidative damage) and has a role in supporting healthy cartilage and the manufacture of collagen cells. This is further enriched with Chondroitin Sulphate, Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic acid or HA) and Glucosamine Sulphate supplying your equine all the ingredients for healthy cartilage and synovial fluid. Perfect for the performance horse.
**Hydraflex Active joint supplement for horses uses an exceptionally high grade of green lipped mussel powder to preserve the unique anti-inflammatory properties.
These are often lost in lower grade green lipped mussel powders.
We insist only on the highest grade to ensure these valuable properties remain to serve in protecting your horse’s joints.
Hydraflex Active joint supplement for horses is a popular equine joint supplement for joint nutrition of the sport horse.

How does pure chaste berry work?
Chasteberry has an effect on the dopamine production in the brain.
Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that inhibits the release of prolactin and other hormones that may be out of balance.
By increasing dopamine levels, chasteberry helps restore normal hormonal function, particularly in horses suffering from hormone-related issues.
What is the dose of pure chase berry?
Dosage can vary depending on the horse’s weight, age, and the issue being treated.
Generally, 10–30 grams per day of chasteberry powder is the recommended dose for most horses,
The dosage may be given over a period of weeks to months, and the response will often be gradual.
Some horses may show improvement within a few weeks, while for others, it might take longer.
Chasteberry is a natural herb that can help manage hormonal imbalances in horses, particularly those related to reproductive health, mood swings, and behavioural issues.
It is a useful option for mares, geldings, and stallions experiencing hormonal fluctuations or conditions like PPID.
However, if your horse or pony exhibits more serious issues with cushings such as regular laminitis a blood test is recommended, and a veterinary medication may be required.
AlleviateC SOS is for horses seriously affected by their pasture grass. Everything from sore feet to head-shaking.
The best results have been observed when it has been used in conjunction with GrazeEzy along with our other recommended diet adjustments. See the ProvideIt Plan
For acute problems remove the horse from ALL green, grass until he is back to normal, then gradually and carefully reintroduce grass again.
It is necessary to lower potassium intake by immediately removing from the horse’s diet:
· short, green, growing grass
· legumes like clover and lucerne
· soy-based feeds and protein meals
· molassed feeds
All of the above add to your horse’s potassium load and make it harder for his system to keep vital minerals in balance.
He will still be ingesting plenty of potassium (more than his daily requirement) from his 24/7 hay
SOS can be dissolved in water and syringed orally
