This smallest and softest of our EXCAL lamb teats is as used in our EXCAL Topper lamb feeder. These are suitable for anyone wishing to create their own lamb feeding arrangement. Suitable for new-born lambs and kids. Require hole 11mm diameter.
These latex teats are ‘baby’ quality in two grades of softness. The ‘natural’ is very soft, ideal as a starter teat for lambs.
The ‘black’ is slightly firmer, but will last longer. Hollow-cone tip to be cut off at desired milk flow rate.
Teats pull easily over normal 28mm neck soft drink bottles. No air inlet on teat.
Very handy teat which fits on any standard cola or soda bottle. Cut an X in teat end with razor, or melt a hole with a hot nail. (No hole supplied!) Very long lasting red rubber.
CAUTION!
Dogs, horses and donkeys must not be allowed access to this calf meal as it contains Bovatec® and ingestion by these species may be fatal.
18% Grower Meal is designed for young calves and has an 18% protein level. It is a highly palatable molasses based calf meal. It contains Bovatec® 20CC as an aid in the control of coccidiosis.
FEEDING GUIDELINES:
Introduce feed to calves in clean troughs from 4 days of age.
Feed out fresh each day and provide calves with access to clean dry hay or straw.
Ensure calves always have access to clean, fresh water.
Wean calves from milk when they are eating 1.0 kg of feed for three or more consecutive days.
Continue feeding Takanini Feeds Calf Feed until 12-14 weeks of age or until weaning weight is achieved.

Takanini Feeds Crushed Oats
Crushed Oats are highly digestible and naturally high in quick releasing carbohydrates making them the grain of choice for trainers and breeders.
Suitable for all horses that require a high protein feed to supplement pasture.
Grass Saver Pellets are high in protein and designed to be fed over winter when hay is the horse’s main source of roughage, or during dry summer months when the nutritional value of the pasture is poor. During spring and autumn when grass is naturally higher in protein, Grass Saver should be fed bulked out with chaff or other high fibre feeds.
A high protein, medium energy maintenance feed, Grass Saver is based around the recognised cool feed material copra. This provides a quality ingredient that is high in both fat and fibre. Grass Saver Pellets include a full vitamin and trace mineral premix, and are an ideal supplement to be fed with hay.

Feeding Recommendations
Winter/Summer – 2kg to a maximum of 4.5kg per day, fed with hay

Additional vitamin and mineral supplements are not recommended while feeding Grass Saver (except under a veterinarian’s advice) due to the inclusion of a full horse vitamin and trace mineral premix in the pellets.
Caution: Grass Saver Pellets are not suitable to feed to sheep, due to the high copper levels associated with the horse vitamin and trace mineral premix included in the feed.
TF Kibbled Maize 20KG
Kibbled maize is whole maize (corn) that has been roller crushed to a smaller size. It is ideal for feeding out to silkies, bantams, pheasants, doves, pigeons, partridge and of course regular-sized chooks! Kibbled maize is also ideal for horses, pigs, sheep, goats, cattle and deer.
TF Manetain
Manetain is an ideal maintenance mix for horses that tend to be sensitive to oats. It is a very palatable, cool energy meal style feed that is manufactured using ingredients sourced from within New Zealand where possible.
This is an oat free formula that is high in copra (to provide cool energy) and has been designed to meet the nutritional needs of horses that are in low to moderate work, and which have access to pasture. Manetain includes magnesium oxide, which can have a calming effect on some horses.

TF Soya Plus (formerly No. 2 Soya)
Suitable for any horse that requires higher protein levels in order to gain condition.
No 2 + Soya is an appetising meal-style feed that is ideal for a range of horses, including young growing horses, mares feeding foals, polo horses, spelling racehorses and any horse that needs building back up after illness or weight loss for any reason.
A higher protein medium energy conditioning all-purpose feed, No 2 + Soya does not include a vitamin and trace mineral premix, but is designed to be used as a base mix. Additional grain, fibre and vitamin/mineral supplements can be added to the feed to suit the requirements of each individual horse. Because of this, No 2 + Soya is an extremely versatile feed that can also be fed to ruminant animals including cattle, sheep and goats which makes it a flexible feed for use on lifestyle blocks.
