Stainless Steel 4 Bar Irons
This style of stirrup is popular for stock riding. The four bar design creates an extra wide tread - more comfortable when spending long hours in the saddle.
Stainless Steel
4 3/4" (12cm)
Leather Punch Standard
With double-action compound handle pivots for most efficient punching. (Much less effort required than single pivot handles.)
Both (Standard or Premium Model) have 6 punches for holes 2mm to 4.5mm diameter.
The standard model is suitable for thinner materials and less regular use.
The premium model is made from high-quality tool steel and is more suitable for thicker heavier materials, and frequent heavy-duty use.
Both have integrated waste boxes with removable stoppers, for collection of scrap.
Leather Punch (Premium)
These are both very good punch tools, both with double-action compound handle pivots for most efficient punching.(Much less effort required than single pivot handles.)
Both have 6 punches for holes 2mm to 4.5mm diameter.
The standard model is suitable for thinner materials and less regular use.
The premium model is made from high-quality tool steel and is more suitable for thicker heavier materials, and frequent heavy-duty use.

Stainless Steel Fillis Irons
This style of stirrup may also be referred to as a German or Heavy Dressage Iron, or Knife Edge Irons. It is similar to the regular 2 bar stirrup, but has a much heavier base and tall, streamlined sides. The extra weight makes it particularly popular/suited for Dressage, where the stirrups should be as still as possible, but it is also suited to other types of competition riding.
To correctly gaugue the correct stirrup size, the rider should place the ball of their foot on the stirrup bars, close to the inside, leaving a space of 25mm (1") to the outside.
Additional grip may be offered through the use of rubber treads that can be fitted to the stirrup - available for separate purchase in White Only.
Stainless Steel
2 Bar Stirrup Treads
Rubber treads to suit most 2 bar stirrup irons, including Safety Irons and Peacock Irons.
They are designed to offer additional grip.
Choose the size that matches your stirrup size. Treads can be quite difficult to fit, especially when new. We suggest soaking them in warm water, or leaving them out in the sun for a while to soften - this will make them more pliable and easier to feed through the stirrup bars.
