Pinederm Shampoo is a soap alternative shampoo specifically formulated for use asan adjunct to the medical treatment of pets with chronic dermatoses where pruritis is a feature (e.g. flea allergy dermatosis, atopy, seborrhoea). Pinederm has been developed specifically for animal treatment by a veterinarian.

Formulation:

Pinetar – 2%. Incorporated for its known antipruritic properties. Triethanolamine Lauryl Sulphate – a detergent and wetting agent with some bacteriostatic activity. Coconut diethanolamide – a detergent with a coconut oil base. Fluorescein – a water soluble dye.

Mode of Action:

Pinetar reduces pruritis and scaling. Coconut Diethanolamide helps replace oils lost from the skin during bathing. Triethanolamine Lauryl Sulphate assists the removal of accumulated dirt. Fluorescein acts as a water soluble dye marker to ensure that all shampoo is removed from the coat by thorough rinsing.

Directions for Use:

Correct application is essential for good results.

Pinederm is not to be used as an ointment or lotion.

Shake the bottle, wet the animal, apply shampoo and lather well, leave for 10 minutes, wash off thoroughly.

Application: Apply the Kids Super-Sauber Shampoo on the damp coat, rub briefly in and rinse out with lukewarm water.

Application: After Shampooing with NATURALLY WHITE or SHOWHITE Shampoo's, towel dry the hair well, and apply a liberal amount of the conditioner in evenly starting at the bottom of the tail and working your way up. Leave in for 5-10 minutes or longer for heavy staining. A shorter amount of time is sufficient for feathers, socks, coat or mane. Rinse gently and allow to dry. Repeat the shampooing/conditioning process if necessary.
