TF Soya Plus (formerly No. 2 Soya)
Suitable for any horse that requires higher protein levels in order to gain condition.
No 2 + Soya is an appetising meal-style feed that is ideal for a range of horses, including young growing horses, mares feeding foals, polo horses, spelling racehorses and any horse that needs building back up after illness or weight loss for any reason.
A higher protein medium energy conditioning all-purpose feed, No 2 + Soya does not include a vitamin and trace mineral premix, but is designed to be used as a base mix. Additional grain, fibre and vitamin/mineral supplements can be added to the feed to suit the requirements of each individual horse. Because of this, No 2 + Soya is an extremely versatile feed that can also be fed to ruminant animals including cattle, sheep and goats which makes it a flexible feed for use on lifestyle blocks.
Typical Analysis (Dry Matter Basis)
Crude Protein 14.8%
Ingredients Selected From
Crushed Barley, Kibbled Maize, Crushed Oats, Soya Meal, Lucerne Chaff, Oaten Chaff, Zeolite, Lime, Soya/Canola Oil Blend, Salt, Molasses, Mould Inhibitor

Why Salt Blocks?
Animals have sought salt since the beginning of time, gathering at salt licks to satisfy their need for salt. Many New Zealand soils and pastures are naturally low in available sodium, and the use of certain fertilisers, such as Potash, may accelerate the leaching process.
Sodium deficiencies are manifested as abnormal licking or chewing of wood, soil and sweat of other animals and may be accompanied by a decline in growth rates and/or milk production.
Common Salt (sodium chloride) is an essential constituent of animal diet. Because many New Zealand pastures are deficient in sodium some form of supplementation is often necessary. For instance, lactating cows need a daily minimum of 20gms of sodium chloride, dry cattle a minimum of 10gms and sheep a minimum of 2gms.
Sodium is routinely expelled from the body in milk, urine, faeces, sweat and saliva. Sodium should be available to farm animals every day and because of this, is a convenient carrier of other minerals.
Salt may be one of the most cost effective methods of increasing production.
Sodium in some form should be available at all times all year round
Dairy cows’ salt requirements significantly increase when lactating, as large amounts of sodium are excreted in milk
Young animals in rapid growth need sodium for new tissue formation
When sodium is deficient, appetite is suppressed
Trials prove Summit® Salt Blocks last nearly 4 times longer than loose rock salt and require twice as much rainfall before broken down by the elements.
Compact 20kg Summit® Salt Blocks are easy to stack, handle and dispense.
Elements:
New Zealand dairy cows grazing pasture are most susceptible to deficiencies of cobalt, copper, iodine, and selenium.
Zinc supplementation is also important for immunity and hoof health.
Trace mineral deficiencies may induce problems such as abortions, retained placentas, mastitis, and infertility.

Premium 20% Protein Calf Starter
Supa 20 is a 20% protein textured blend, based on premium NZ grown maize. With molasses as a binder, this blend is highly palatable and can be offered to calves from birth, with a guaranteed quick uptake.
This premium blend provides a balance of energy and protein to encourage early rumen development and maximise growth rates. The texture allows calves to cud the meal, which provides the saliva to develop the rumen. Also included is Bovatec©, incorporated as a prevention from coccidiosis.
Available in 20kg
Why use Supa 20?
- Results — Improved uptake, optimised weight gains and rapidly reaching targets.
- Bovatec© — Accurately incorporated as an aid in prevention of coccidiosis, a parasitic disease that can occur in young cattle.
- 20% true protein — Sourced from soya meal, peas and cotton seed meal to provide amino acids essential for healthy growth of lean tissue.
- Molasses binder — For a highly palatable and appealing feed.
- Textured — Encourages calves to cud the meal, providing the saliva for essential rumen development.
- No fillers — We do not believe in utilising fillers, which are an unreliable source that do not align with early nutrition needs essential for maximised growth rates.
- NZ Made — Manufactured to order in a solar-powered factory in the Far North of New Zealand.
Compatible with Shoof Easy Feeder bottles
Low mounted teat
Coarse-thread cap
Single Big Softy teat
Single teat and lid to fit both the 2.5 L and 4 L Speedy Feeder bottle. Easy Feeder and Speedy Feeder are made by Shoof. Easy Feeder is a single-speed nursing bottle and the Speedy Feeder is three-speed. With Speedy Feeder when you get a real fast sucker, switch to 'Fast' and let him go for it. When you have a weak premature-born calf, needing careful feeding, switch to 'Stop' or 'Slow' and let him take milk as he can cope without drowning. The three speeds control the air inflow to the bottle, and thus the milk outflow. Reduce time wasted on speedsters and prevent drowning weaklings, all using the same bottle and teat. These feeders also feature intelligently designed bottle with multi-directional easy-grip hand hold. The teat is mounted low in the cap to empty the bottle contents completely. The wide 70mm-diameter neck ensures easier filling and cleaning, and the coarse-thread cap is quick and easy to fit. The wide base gives the bottle maximum stability when standing. Spare teats are supplied as fitted teat/cap assemblies, green cap for Easy Feeder and blue cap for Speedy Feeder, or as bare teat. (Teat replacement needs some strength to achieve.
