Feed ad hoc, birds will regulate their intake as required.  Place in a feeder or spread on the ground to encourage natural foraging behaviour for wild birds and poultry.

Pet owners can feed from two to five insects per meal, depending on the size of the animal and the species type. For smaller fish and reptiles, they will need to break the bigger insects into easily digestible pieces.

It is important owners know that these treats should only be served as part of a complete diet. While helpful in delivering valuable nutrition and diversity into their diets no animal can survive on this food alone. That is why many people choose to mix insects with their regular wild bird feed for backyard birds to dine on. Feeding guide

We recommend feeding approximately 150gm per bird per day, and it is best to always have available for extra feeding should additional fresh feed be required. Fresh water and oyster shell grit should also always be made available, and fresh greens and food scraps are a good way to add some variety and extra natural goodness to the diet of your chickens.

Chick Warmer (No Cover or Regulator)

The 240v chick warmer plate gives controllable low-level heat for young chicks. The warmth is from above, so chicks can move in and out from it as they wish. The height is easily adjustable on the corner legs. The temperature-controllable element is totally encased in plastic for safe operation. Optional clear domed-plastic cover prevents chicks climbing onto the plate and creating a mess on it (see photos), and is available for each size warmer (except triangle units). A rheostat controlled temperature regulator is also available separately. Its use is optional. The triangle warmers are made to fit snugly in corners, instead of dominating brood areas. Chicks are very comfortable congregating in corners, and the warmer uses even less energy when placed in a corner.
